In September, our team visited three professional industry events in Moscow, Kunming and Almaty. Here are some of the key highlights and takeaways from our visits.
September 7–9 | FlowersExpo, Moscow
We started the month at FlowersExpo, an international exhibition of flowers and plants, equipment and technologies for floriculture and landscape design.
The event brought together producers, suppliers and industry professionals from different countries. We explored new products and solutions in floriculture, floristry, ornamental horticulture and landscape design, met with exhibitors and colleagues, and learned more about new solutions for the flower business.

September 18–20 | IFEX Kunming, Kunming
From Moscow, we travelled to Kunming, one of the key centres of China’s flower industry.
IFEX Kunming impressed us with its scale, bringing together 600+ exhibitors and covering virtually the entire flower business value chain — from breeding and planting materials to growing technologies, equipment and logistics.
It was especially interesting to see the development of the Chinese market and discover solutions already being used in flower production and trade.

September 23–24 | Green Spaces Expo & 4th CAAAP Conference, Almaty
We completed our industry tour in Almaty at Green Spaces Expo and the 4th CAAAP Conference.
The event focused on plant nurseries, urban greening, landscaping and the development of green infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The business programme covered the development of ornamental nurseries, modern approaches to urban greening and practical solutions for the industry.

For our team, it was a valuable opportunity to meet industry professionals, exchange experience and discuss the prospects for the development of the sector across Central Asia.
