On April 20-22, 2023, Astana will host the 5th Open Championship in Professional Floristry "Altyn Gul-2023".
Event organizer: Exhibition company "Astana-Expo KS".
The championship will be held within the framework of the X International Exhibition of Floriculture and Landscaping "Flora Expo Astana".
The common theme of all competitive tasks is "The future is in colors".
The participants of the Championship will complete three competitive tasks:
1. Frame bouquet "Inspired by the architecture of Kazakhstan".
2. A wedding bouquet or an accessory replacing a bouquet based on the creativity of modern fashion designers.
3. An interior composition in an alternative technique "I am an artist, and I see it this way", where each contestant will have to present his point of view on modern floral design.
The winners of the Championship will be announced at a ceremony on April 21 on the main stage of the exhibition.
The championship will be evaluated by a jury led by the famous Russian florist Roman Stengauer. Roman has been working in floristry since 2003, a multiple participant and prize-winner of regional competitions held with the support of the National Guild of Florists in Novosibirsk, Omsk, Irkutsk, as well as competitions organized by Artflora. Winner of the Russian Professional Floristry Championship in 2010. Silver medalist of the European Championship 2016. Genoa, Italy.
Olga Sharova (Moscow, Russia) is a Champion of Russia in professional floristry, a well-known Moscow florist-designer, art director of the 7TSVETOV company, a member of the National Guild of Florists. In 2018, the Champion of Greece in professional floristry Greek Flower Cup Pro 2018. In 2019, the winner of the International Floral Festival in Japan "International Flower Show Japan'2019". In 2021, the Champion of Russia in professional floristry.
Andrey Filonenko is the Champion of Russia in professional floristry. Winner of the special prize of the jury of the Russian Championship for innovation. Champion of Moscow and the Central region in professional floristry. Master florist. Resident of floral schools in Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus.
